Born 1958, Petauke District, Zambia.  Self-taught painter in oils on canvas. Became well known on Zambian art scene after winning First Prize in each of the three consecutive Mobil Art Competitions.  Was initially inspired by wildlife.  Has been working and living in Tanzania, but is now back in Zambia.His paintings from the early 1990s are well documented, indicating he has been working professionally as an artist for more than 35 years, and likely began his artistic career in the late 1980.especially landscapes and village scenes that depict everyday rural life in Zambia.
