Biography:
Born in 1966, Danny Chiyesu is a multi-disciplined and seasoned Zambian visual artist with over 35 years of experience. He graduated from the Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and the Africa Literature Center. Danny is a painter, graphic designer, photographer, filmmaker, printmaker, art tutor and writer. He authorises the books Visual Arts Defined, Elements of Visual Arts and Principles of Visual Arts. Danny is the founder and director of the Creative Arts Training School and Digital Majik. Since 1990 he has held several solo exhibitions. 2019 Danny held a digital art exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany. He has also taken part in many duet and group exhibitions. Danny Chiyesu has sold many artworks to both local and international art collectors. He enjoys working in pastels, acrylics, oil, mixed media and digital media.
